Champions of Justice Luncheon Honors Tommy Fibich

Posted By Fibich, Leebron, Copeland & Briggs

Fibich, Leebron, Copeland & Briggs is pleased to announce that Founding Partner Tommy Fibich will be honored at the upcoming “Champions of Justice” Luncheon held by Texas Watch! The event will take place on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Brennan’s of Houston.

Texas Watch is a citizen advocacy organization that has been fighting on behalf of families and consumers across Texas since 1998. Throughout its 20 years, the organization had focused on ensuring insurance companies and corporations treat their customers fairly by advocating for legislation that ensures accountability, improves safety for communities, patients, and workers, and supports meaningful reform of the insurance marketplace to ensure affordable coverage.

Each year, Texas Watch holds its Champions of Justice Luncheon in honor of groundbreaking advocates whose commitment to justice, safety, and accountability exemplify the group’s mission. Tommy’s selection as this year’s honoree is a tremendous compliment, and a recognition that speaks not only to the respect he has cultivated throughout the local and legal communities, but also his unrelenting passion for protecting the interests of everyday people, workers, and families whose rights are often at risk of erosion by the hands of corporate powers.

The same passion that has propelled Tommy to support legislative reform and protections for Texans have also driven his success in advocating for the many clients we serve at Fibich, Leebron, Copeland & Briggs. A nationally recognized Texas Trial Lawyer, Tommy drives our firm’s ability to defend the rights of injured victims and their families, including many who are harmed by the failures of corporations that prioritize profits over people, and many who face off against insurance providers that care more about protecting their financial interests.

Our firm congratulates Tommy on being this year’s Champions of Justice Luncheon Honoree, and looks forward to celebrating his phenomenal career and proven accomplishments, while also supporting Texas Watch as it continues to support efforts to preserve and strengthen the Constitutional rights of Texas. Advantages of Working with Board Certified Attorneys

Our firm is proud to have three lawyers on our team who are board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Tommy Fibich is a board certified civil trial law specialist, and Russell Briggs and Jay Henderson are board certified personal injury trial law specialists. Board certification is a great honor-in fact-only 10% of practicing attorneys in the state have earned the right to be publicly recognized as certified specialists in their respective fields.
